| Bio: | Book collector and reader. I started out as a kid collecting Andre Norton's books so I would have a copy of the stories I liked to read whenever I wanted - no need to return them to the library! - and have just carried on. Old children's books (Elsie Oxenham, Arthur Ransome, etc), YA sf/f (Andre Norton, Diane Duane, Tamora Pierce, etc), old 'gentle reads' (D.E. Stevenson, Iris Bromige, etc), contemporary YA fiction (Will Hobbs), but lately my most absorbing reading and collecting interests are cozy mysteries (Donna Andrews, Earlene Fowler, Monica Ferris, etc). Mainly I stay at the cozy end of the spectrum, but for special things I'll branch out (John Dunning's Cliff Janeway books). | |
